Copying Objects In AutoCAD(Illustrated Expression)

In this article of Mechanicalland we will show you how to copy objects in Autocad with ‘Copy’ command. This is very basic process in Autocad ans we will explain it with a very basic example as below.

How To Use ‘Copy’ Command In AutoCAD?

Click on ‘Copy’ command in Autocad.

To copy objects in Autocad drawing scheme, click o n the ‘Copy’ command in Autocad interface as shown by red arrow above.

Select the objects that needed to be copied in Autocad.

After entering into the ‘Copy’ command in Autocad, select the desired objects as shown above example.

Click and select the reference point to copy object in Autocad.

After selecting the required objects to copy in Autocad, right click on screen and end the object selection, click to select the reference point for the copying objects as shown by red arrow above in Autocad.

Click to select the location of the copied object in Autocad.

After selection the reference point, click to select the place of the copied object by picking this reference point as shown by red arrow above.

Copy the objects more than one in Autocad.

You can copy the selected object more than one in ‘Copy’ command, by clicking on different places in Autocad drawing scheme as above.

So copying objects is very easy with ‘Copy’ command in Autocad.
