Siemens NX proıvides some kinds of tools to create quick known 3D geometries. One of these commands is ‘Block’ command that you can create boxes in a very quick way. In this article, we will show you how to create box geometries with ‘Block’ command in Siemens NX.
How To Use ‘Block’ Command In Siemens NX?

To open ‘Block’ command, click on pop up mene as shown by red arrow above then click on ‘Block’ command as shown in red box in Siemens NX.

After entering into the ‘Block’ command in Siemens NX, click to define the corner location of block as shown by red arrow above. This corner location will be the starting point of edge lengths of created block.
Define the Length, Width and Heigth dimensions of block as shown in red box above. If your geometry coincides with an other geometry, you can use Boolean options for it.

Click on ‘OK’ or ‘Apply’ to create block as above in Siemens NX.

If you select the ‘Two Points and Height’ option for ‘Block’ command in Siemens NX, you need to specify the origin location of your block as shown by red arrow. Then you need to specify the second point that will be the X and Y location corner of the block as shown by blue arrow. Then you need to specify the height as in blue box.

Click on ‘OK’ or ‘Apply’ button to create the block with ‘Block’ command.

Select the ‘Two Diagonal Points’ option for ‘Block’ command in Siemens NX.
This is the last option that you can select from above pop up menu inside the ‘Block’ command in Siemens NX. You can specify the origin location as shown by blue arrow and the diagonal point location as shown by red arrow to create block in Siemens NX.

The block is created by defining the diagonal locations in ‘Block’ command.
The use of ‘Block’ command is very easy like above. When you create boxes, you can use this command basically in Siemens NX.
