Drawing 2D Donut Geometries In AutoCAD(Illustrated Expression)

There is a special command in AutoCAD 2D to create simple donut geometries. In this short article, we will show you how to create 2D donut geometries with ‘Donut’ command in Autocad with a very basic example below.

How To Use ‘Donut’ Command In AutoCAD?

Click on ‘Donut’ command in Autocad.

To enter into the ‘Donut’ command in Autocad, click on ‘Draw’ pop-up menu as shown by green arrow above then click on ‘Donut’ command as in green box.

Specify inside diameter of donut geometry.

After entering into the ‘Donut’ command in Autocad, specify inside diameter by entering a value as shown by green arrow above. Then press ‘Enter’ from your keyboard.

Specify outside diameter for ‘Donut’ command in Autocad.

After pressing ‘Enter’ from your keyboard, specify outside diamete by entering a value again as shown by green arrow above in Autocad. Then press ‘ Enter’ from your keyboard again.

Specify the center points of your donuts in Autocad.

After pressing ‘Enter’, you can click to specify the center points of donuts respectively like above in Autocad.

Right click then exit from ‘Donut’ command if you done.
