Drawing Corner Rectangle In Solidworks Sketching(Illustrated Expression)

In this article we will show you how to draw rectangle with Corner Rectangle command in Solidworks. It is generally used command to create rectangles in Solidworks skething. How To Draw Rectangles With Corner Rectangle Command In Solidworks?

Click on Corner Rectangle command in Solidworks.

To draw rectangles with Corner Rectangle command, click on the little pop-up menu as shown by green arrow above then click on the Corner Rectangle command as shown in green box in Solidworks.

Select a proper plane or surface.

After entering to the Center Rectangle command in Solidworks, select a proper plane or feature surface to draw rectangle.

Select the first corner of rectangle.

After selecting a plane or surface for rectangle, click on the first corner’s place as shown by green arrow above, the place of second corner will be as shown in green box above in Solidworks.

The rectangle is drawn with Corner Rectangle command in Solidworks as above.

Click on For Construction.

If you select the ‘For Construction’ option as in green box above, the drawn geometry will be as shown by green arrow in Solidworks.

Adjust the parameters numerically for Center Rectangle.

You can enter the corner placing values X and Y from the ‘Parameters’ tab as shown above in Solidworks.
