We expressed the editing of graphs with MatLab® codes in Matlab® before. But you can also edit the created curves and graphs in Matlab® from its Figure options. You can add legends, color bars, X and Y labels manually. In this article, we will show you how to do these kinds of things to Matlab® curves and graphs below.
How To Edit MatLab® Curves And Graphs Manually?
As you see, there are lots of graph editing options inside the ‘Insert’ tab. In this example, we have three curves that are obtained with the subplot() command. So if you want to add something from the ‘Insert’ tab to an individual graph, you need to first select that graph as in the orange box above.
As you see, you can add X and Y labels to your graphs as shown by the green arrows above. After clicking on the ‘X Label’ or ‘Y Label’ from the ‘Insert’ tab, you need to type the required information.

Also, you can add legends to your graphs as shown by blue arrows, and you can add color bars to your graphs as shown by the red arrow.
Lots of other features can be added as shown by the orange arrow. We added an ellipse shape. You can add Textboxes, arrows, etc, etc. to improve the exhibitive power of your graphs.
Also, you can save or print your graph from little shortcuts as shown by the orange arrows above. Other save options are also in the ‘File’ tab as shown in the tiny orange box above again in Matlab®.
As you see, you do not need to use ‘codes’ for everything in MatLab® like above. Editing your graphs and curves that are obtained in Matlab® is very simple like above.
