What Is The Equivalent Total Strain?
The strain is the deformation of an engineering body with the application of loads such as pressures, forces, etc. The equivalent total strain is the combination or accumulation of the four types of strains; creep, plastic, thermal and elastic.
How To See The Equivalent Total Strain Results In ANSYS®?

Actually, it is very basic. But you need to define the required boundary conditions in your FEA structural analysis in ANSYS®. Then you need to create the required mesh structure for your analysis.
After these steps, right-click on the ‘Solution’ tab, then hover your mouse on the ‘Insert’ tab. Select the ‘Equivalent Total’ option from the ‘Strain’ menu as shown above.
Click on the ‘Solve’ button to see the equivalent total strain result in the analysis.

As you see above, the equivalent total strain is shown in ANSYS® Mechanical.
Conclusion
So, it is very simple to see the equivalent total strain result in ANSYS® Mechanical FEA analyses.
