Giving Ordinate Location In AutoCAD 2D(Illustrated Expression)

There is a command in Autocad that you can use to define or annotate a place’s ordinate location according to reference coordinate system. In here, we will show you how to show ordinate location of a point in Autocad 2D environment with ‘Ordinate’ command.

How To Use ‘Ordinate’ Command In AutoCAD?

Click on ‘Ordinate’ command in Autocad.

For example you want to show ordinate location of given circle’s center. Click on pop-up menu as shown by red arrow above then click on ‘Ordinate’ command in Autocad as shown in red box above.

Click to use ‘Ordinate’ command in Autocad.

After entering into the ‘Ordinate’ command in Autocad, click onthe center point of given example circle as shown by red arrow. Then place your pointer and text that shows the exact ordinate location, by clicking second time with your mouse.
