How to Drill Standard Simple Hole in Siemens NX?

Firstly, to drill standard-size simple holes into parts in Siemens NX, you need to click on the Hole command as shown by the red arrow above.

Secondly, you need to specify hole locations on the Siemens NX part by clicking on the Points dialog as shown by the red arrow above.

Also, you need to select the whole hole locations that you want to drill in simple geometry, you need to just click on the locations as shown by the red arrows above. After that, click on the Finish button as shown by the red box above in Siemens NX.

To drill simple holes on Siemens NX parts, select the Simple form from the Form And Dimensions tab as shown by the red box above.
Enter the Dimensions of Holes

And then, you need to specify your simple hole dimensions in Siemens NX;
Diameter: It is the diameter value of the simple hole we drill as shown by the red arrow above.
Depth: This is the depth of the simple holes as shown by blue arrows.
Tip Angle: This is the tip cone’s angle of the drilled simple hole as shown by the green arrow.

Also, you can select a Depth Limit method to drill simple holes as shown by the green box above:
Value: Enter a depth value for a simple hole.
Until Selected: It drills the hole up to the selected feature.
Until Next: It drills the simple hole up to the Next feature.
Through Body: It drills the whole body that simple hole geometry belongs.

You can adjust the depth of the simple hole as shown in the red box above;
Cylinder Bottom: 40mm depth will be adjusted according to the cylinder bottom.
Cone Tip: 40mm depth will be adjusted according to the cone tip.
After that, click OK or Apply to complete it.

The simple coned hole is drilled on the Siemens NX part with the Hole command.
How To Drill Standard-Sized Threaded Holes In Siemens NX®?

To drill the standard-sized threaded hole in Siemens NX®, click on the Hole command as shown by the red arrow above.

After entering the Hole command, select the Threaded Hole from the pop-up menu as shown by the green arrow above in Siemens NX®.

In the Position section shown by the red box above, you need to select the face that you want to create the holes on it as shown by the green arrow above.
Above the All Adjustments of the Hole;

After the face is selected, a special section will be opened. In this section, you can select the exact hole locations by putting points with your mouse as shown by the green arrows above. If you complete the specification of points, click on Finish from the right-top section to turn back to the Hole command.

You can select the direction of your threaded holes from the red box;
Normal To Face: The threaded hole is drilled normally into the selected face.
Along with Vector: Also you can select a line or an axis to define the hole’s direction from the drawing scheme in Siemens NX®.

In Thread Dimensions, select the hole size as shown by the red box above such as M10X1.5, M20X2.5, etc. in Siemens NX®.

Select a radial to engage value for your threaded hole in the Hole command either 0.75 or 0.5. Also, you can enter your custom value if you select a Custom option in a red box above in Siemens NX®.

You can select a standard depth type from a red box such as 1.5xDiameter which will define the up to where the threads of the hole will be drilled.
Custom: You can enter a custom value for thread depth.
Full: You can make the full-threaded hole by selecting it from the red box above.

As you know thread geometries are generally right-handed or left-handed. Select one of them from above for your threaded hole.
Enter These Values

You can select a depth determination method as in the red box above in Siemens NX®;
Value: You will enter a depth value for the threaded hole.
Until Selected: The depth of the threaded hole will be drilled up to the selected face or feature in this method.
Until Next: The depth of the threaded hole will be drilled up to other features in its extension.
Through Body: The whole body will be drilled.
And Also,

The depth option will be determined according to this selection;
Cylinder Bottom: Depth will be determined according to cylinder bottom as shown by the red arrow.
Cone Tip: Depth will be determined according to the cone tip as shown by the green arrow.

You can enter an angle value to define the cone tip angle as shown by the green arrow above.

Also, you can Enable the Relief option in the green box that gives the geometric shapes as shown by the green arrows above.

You can enable or disable the Relief Chamfer for the threaded hole that will be drilled in Siemens NX®.

Also, you can adjust the chamfering options for the threaded hole as shown by the green arrow above in Siemens NX®. Also, you can enable or disable this.

You can select a threaded hole standard such as ANSI, DIN, etc. And you can define a Tolerance value as shown by the green arrow above.
Click OK to finish the threaded hole drilling operation as shown by the red arrow above.

Countersunk Screw Clearance Hole in Siemens NX?

To drill the countersunk screw clearance hole in Siemens NX, click on the Hole command as shown by the red arrow above.

After entering the Hole command, select the Screw Clearance Hole from the pop-up menu as shown by the red arrow above Siemens NX.

In the Position section shown by the red box above, you need to select the face that you want to create the holes on it as shown by the red arrow above.

After the face is selected, a special section will be opened. In this section, you can select the exact hole locations by putting points with your mouse as shown by the arrows above. If you complete the specification of points, click on Finish from the right-top section to turn back to the Hole command.
