How To Use ‘Mirror Geometry’ Command In Siemens NX?

Click on ‘Mirror Geometry’ command in Siemens NX.

To open the ‘Mirror Geometry’ command in Siemens NX, click on pop up menu called ‘More’ as shown by red arrow above then click on ‘Mirror Geometry’ command in Siemens NX.

Select the required parameters for ‘Mirror Geometry’ command.

After entering into the ‘Mirror Geometry’ command in Siemens NX, you need to select the geometry or geometries to be copied as shown by red arrow above. Then select the plane or surface as shown by blue arrow that will be used as mirror.

In settings, if you select the ‘Associative’ option as shown by blue box, the copied geometry will be dependent on the main geometry with its all features. Also if you select the ‘Copy Threads’ option, all the hierarchy of main object will be copied such as parent objects etc.

Click on ‘OK’ or ‘Apply’ to complete the mirroring 3D objects in Siemens NX with ‘Mirror Geometry’ command.
