Mirroring is very useful thing in CAD design tools. Also mirroring is very easy in Autocad. In this article we will show how to mirror objects and geometric features in Autocad with ‘Mirror’ command. It is very basic process and we will explain it with a very basic example below.
How To Use ‘Mirror’ Command In Autocad?

To ‘Mirror’ objects in Autocad, click on ‘Mirror’ command as shown by green arrow above in ‘Modify’ menu.

After entering into the ‘Mirror’ command, select the required objects from Autocad sketching as shown above.

After selecting required geometries to mirror in Autocad, right click on the screen to end the selection, then specify the first point in mirror line as shown by green arrow above. Then specify the second point of mirror line as shown by red arrow above.

After the specifying the second point, Autocad asks a question to you as shown by red arrow above;
‘Erase the source object?’
If you click on Yes, the main object will be mirrored and the main object will be deleted. If you click on No, The main object will not be deleted after mirroring operation in Autocad.
