How To Make Polygon Patterns In Siemens NX?

To make a polygon pattern in Siemens NX, click on the Pattern Feature command in Siemens NX ribbon bar as shown by red arrow above.

After entering to the Pattern Feature command, select the feature that you want to pattern as polygon as shown by red arrow above.

Select the Polygon method to make polygon patterns as shown in red box above.

You need to select a direction vector such as an axis, or an edge of a feature as shown by red arrow above. You can change its direction by clicking on little button shown by little red box above.

Enter the side value of polygon as shown by red arrow above then select a spacing method fpr polygon pattern as in red box;
Count per Side: The instance value of each side of polygon in Siemens NX.
Pitch along Side: The spacing between instances at each polygon side.
In each method, you can enter the span angle for polygon pattern.

You can create polygon patterns as above by selecting ‘Create Cocentric Members’ option as shown by red box above and you do the general adjustments such as Count and Pitch, Count and Span etc. to obtain patterns as shown by red arrow above.

You can select individual instances from the section above as shown by red box, then you can right-click on them to delete, supress etc. in Siemens NX.
Click on OK or Apply button to complete Polygon Pattern operation in Siemens NX.
