How to Use Revolve Command in Siemens NX?

To obtain a revolved geometry, you need to click on the pop-up menu as shown by the red arrow above. Then click on the Revolve command as shown by the red box above in Siemens NX.

After that, you need to select the revolved curve as shown by the red arrow. Then you need to revolve the axis as shown by the blue arrow above. The axis need not belong to the primary sketch, you could select whatever you want as the axis.

In the Limits tab, you can select a method either value or Until selected. If you select until selected, Revolve action will start from the selected feature. It is valid for the End option. If you select Until Selected in End option, the revolving operation will end at the selected feature in Siemens NX.

Boolean Options in Siemens NX

For example, we entered values of stating and ending angles, you can see the result of the entered values as shown by the blue arrows above. Also, you can adjust the Boolean options for Revolve in Siemens NX.

None: Default option for boolean in Siemens NX Revolve command.

Unite: If the created 3D geometry from the revolving process intersects with other 3D geometry in the drawing scheme, you can select Unite for boolean. Then select the other geometry to Unite two of them in Siemens NX.

Subtract: If the created 3D geometry from the revolving process intersects with other 3D geometry in the drawing scheme, you could carve out the other 3D sketch by using the obtained revolved 3D geometry by selecting this.

Intersect: If the created 3D geometry from the revolving process intersects with other 3D geometry in the drawing scheme, you can only obtain the intersection geometry of two of these geometries.

Conclusion

The use of the Revolve command in Siemens NX is very simple above.
