Fahrenheit is a common temperature scale that we use in the English customary system. Also, it is equivalent temperature scale of the Celsius in US Customary system. The conversion between the Fahrenheit and the Celsius is very simple;

°C = (°F – 32) / 1.8

Also, if you want to find the Celsius equivalent of a Fahrenheit temperature, you just need to subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit and divide this value by 1.8. And also, if you want to make the opposite, you need to multiply the Celsius by 1.8 and add 32 to it.

### Rankine to Celsius Temperature Conversion

Rankine is the temperature that we mostly use in scientific studies and calculations in the English unit system. So, if you are an SI unit user person who is dealing with scientific calculations in the English system, you will use this conversion between Rankine and Celsius which is very easy;

°C = (°R – 491.67) × 5/9

Furthermore, according to this calculation, you need to subtract 491.67 from Rankine temperature and you need to multiply this value by 5/9 to find the Celsius equivalent of it. To make the opposite calculation, you need to divide the Celsius temperature by 5/9 and add 491.67 to this value to find the Fahrenheit temperature equivalent.
